The origin

How it all began.

Our founder faced a real challenge while running Tyler Petroleum, a $60+ million annual revenue business. He relied on multiple platforms, like Bill.com, Deluxe Checks, and Mint.com, for payments, banking, and tracking, and the constant switching between tools led to inefficiency and frustration.

Inspired by his experience managing thousands of vendors, serving as a Local ATM Processor, and operating retail and Western Union locations, he envisioned a better way for businesses to control how money leaves the company. That vision grew into Zil Money, and Virtual Card Maker is its answer to one specific piece of the problem: giving any business a fast, controlled way to issue and manage virtual Visa cards.
