Visa virtual card
Give each vendor, subscription, and employee their own Visa card instead of sharing yours. Put a limit on each one, keep it to a single merchant, and see exactly where every dollar goes, all from one dashboard.

Why run every business expense on one shared card?
Most teams put every vendor, subscription, and trip on a single company card. One number, no per-charge limits, and no clean way to see who spent what.
- One card, the whole team. Everyone shares the same number, so a single leak or dispute can freeze spending for everyone.
- No limit per vendor or hire. A tool you approved once can raise its price or auto-renew, and you find out on the statement.
- Messy reconciliation. Chasing receipts and matching charges to people and projects eats hours every month.
Issue a separate Visa card for every vendor, hire, and expense.
Each virtual Visa card has its own 16-digit number, expiry, and CVV, funded from your Zil Money wallet. Create one for a vendor, a SaaS tool, an employee, or a project, and control each one on its own.
- A real Visa number. It works in any standard checkout that accepts Visa. The vendor sees an ordinary Visa card.
- Set a spending limit. Cap each card at the budget for that vendor, subscription, or trip. Charges over the cap can be blocked based on your controls.
- Virtual or physical. Issue virtual cards online for online spend. Physical cards ship by USPS for in-person and travel use.
- Cancel from the dashboard. Offboard a vendor or end a project? Cancel that card and future charges stop clearing. Your other cards keep working.

Three ways businesses use a Visa virtual card.
- Vendor payments
Issue one card per vendor with a set limit. If a number leaks or a vendor overcharges, only that card is affected and the rest keep working.
- SaaS subscriptions
Give each software subscription its own card capped at the plan price. A surprise upgrade or auto-renewal gets blocked.
- Employee & travel spend
Hand an employee or traveler a card with a limit and an end date, then cancel it when the project or trip wraps.

Common questions.
What is a Visa virtual card?
It is a 16-digit Visa card you create online instead of carrying a plastic one. It has its own number, expiry, and CVV, and is funded from your Zil Money wallet.
Is the Visa virtual card free to create?
There is no monthly subscription to create and use virtual cards, and you can issue as many as you need. Some no-fee benefits require keeping a minimum average wallet balance, currently $10,000; if your balance falls below that, certain fees may apply, as described in the Zil Money Terms. Physical cards ship by USPS for a standard shipping fee.
How fast can I create and start using the card?
You create the card online from your dashboard, and it is ready to use at standard online checkout right after you create it, within the spending limit and controls you set. You can also add it to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet where available.
Where can I use a Visa virtual card?
Wherever Visa is accepted. The card works in standard online checkout, and you can add it to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet where available.
Do I need to carry a plastic card to use it?
No. A virtual Visa card lives in your dashboard and your mobile wallet. It is funded from your Zil Money wallet, and you spend from it up to the limit you set.
Do I need a credit check to get a card?
No. Each card is funded from your own Zil Money wallet balance, so there is no borrowing and no hard credit check to create a card. You add funds by ACH or wire, then spend up to your balance and the limits you set.
Is my money safe, and is it FDIC insured?
Zil Money is a financial technology company, not a bank. Banking services are provided by our partner bank, Member FDIC, and FDIC insurance applies only to eligible products with funds held at the partner bank, subject to applicable limits and requirements. You can set a spending limit on every card and cancel any card from your dashboard, and Zil Money uses encryption and multi-factor authentication to help protect your account.
Can I get a physical version of the card?
Yes. Choose the physical option when you create the card and it ships by USPS. A standard shipping fee applies.
Can I cancel a card I no longer need?
Yes. Cancel the card from your dashboard and future charges stop clearing. Your other cards keep working as normal.
